In front of a sparse midweek pre-Christmas crowd, Baldock Town beat London Colney by an only goal to secure a Premier Division cup final place.

With Sam James and Russell Bull coming into the starting line-up in place of Charlie Hayford and Daril Ngwala, Baldock were hopeful of continuing Saturday’s good result at MK Gallacticos.

The goal to decide the tie came just after the hour when Charlie Joy stepped up to score his 2nd of the season and ensure the Reds safe passage into the final. They now await the other semi-final match between top two in the League Biggleswade FC and Tring Athletic to find out their opponents. This match is scheduled at Biggleswade’s Langford Road stadium on Tuesday 29th January 2019.

Next up for Baldock Town is a return to League action this coming Saturday (14th) when Stotfold will be the visitors to the New Lamb Meadow – kick-off 3pm.
