Biggleswade FC and Tring Athletic extended the gap between themselves and the rest on a soggy SSML Saturday afternoon.

In what looked on paper to be the game of the day, Tring Athletic travelled to the New Lamb Meadow at Arlesey in a match which brought 3rd and 2nd in the table together. An Ash Campbell hat-trick for Athletic took the points home to Hertfordshire, while Ash Fuller scored a late penalty consolation for the Blues. Arlesey now sit 10 points adrift in 3rd having played two games less.

Biggleswade FC remain a point clear at the top after beating Edgware 3-0 at home. Alex Marsh was another hat-trick hero on the day with his 3rd being cheekily chipped over the diving keeper from the spot.

At the wrong end of the table, Stotfold now find themselves 3 points adrift after a 1-5 mauling at home to North Greenford United. Goals from Lee Armitt with yet another Saturday hat-trick, and a brace from Aaron McLeish being too strong for the struggling Eagles, whose consolation came from Lee Roache. At Vale Farm, Wembley were held to a 1-1 draw by Leighton Town. George Dentice on target for the visitors.

Supersub Alfie Barker came on for Baldock Town in the 65th minute and within nine minutes had scored both goals to secure the points at Cockfosters. The Reds are steadily climbing the table and have only been beaten once in nine matches. In the Colney derby, it was Colney Heath who came out on top at home against London Colney by 4-2. Two goals from Harvey Scott along with a strike each from Spencer Clarke-Mardel and sub Joe Newton was enough for the Magpies

Early season league pacesetters Potton United have suffered a severe form wobble in recent weeks, but they managed to get back on track with a 3-1 victory at London Tigers. Two goals from Jim Burnside and a Danny Webb penalty saw off the Tigers.

Meanwhile at Pancake Lane, Leverstock Green hit Oxhey Jets for six of the best. Prolific frontman Jonathan Lacey, who has been selected in a 16-man England FA squad for an ambassadorial visit to the Falkland Islands in November, added a brace to his season tally of 13 and along with other goals from Chris Blunden, Alex Condon, Mark Smith and Alex Witham, the rout was complete.

Biggleswade United went down 2-1 at Hadley where Ibrahim Camara scored a brace for the home side and Crawley Green met Harpenden Town at the Brache where the home side came out on top by 2-1. Danny Watson scored both of Green’s goals before the break with Archie McClelland replying in the 2nd half for the Harps.
