On Saturday 22nd September, Baldock Town leave the silverware trail aside for the time being and return to league action when Edgware Town will be our visitors to the New Lamb Meadow.

The Wares gained promotion to the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division at the end of season 2015-16, after being crowned Champions of Division One, winning the league by a clear 10 points. Since that time they have spent 2 consolidating seasons in the top flight finishing in 17th and 10th places.

Currently sitting in 9th place in the table having accumulated 8 points from 5 games, (W2 D2 L1), their most recent fixture was away at 1st Division Broadfields United in the FA Vase last Sunday afternoon, where they somewhat surprisingly went down 2-0 AET.

They have already visited our local area on 3 occasions so far this season, winning league encounters 2-1 at Potton United and 3-0 at Stotfold, showing they will be no pushover. In the Premier Division Cup however, they went down by a 5-0 scoreline at high-flying Biggleswade FC.

Kick-off is at 3pm and everyone is welcome.
